*Remote Via Zoom* Spirituality Series 2022: FREEDOM is the key promise of the completion of Steps 8 & 9. Step 8 ~ Identify “harms”: 1. How did you diminish them? Not what you did… but what was the impact on them! What you did that diminished the quality of their lives? Which of these areas were affected? Physical; Emotional; Mental; Financial; Spiritual 2. What specifically can I do to balance the Justice scale? My change of behavior? My repair of damage? Step 9 ~ Willingness to address the damage to complete he Forgiveness Process: How do I prepare properly? How do I make amends to people I can’t find? How do I make effective amends to people I should not contact? or who don’t want contact with me? How do I make amends to dead people? What is the “Forgiveness Process”?
*Remote Via Zoom* 7th Workshop on Emotional Sobriety. Who should attend? ALL who are interested in improving their life; especially those in any 12 Step Fellowship. In this four hour workshop Dr. Berger & Herb K. will address the nature of “unmanageability”: Restless, Irritable, Discontent; Resentments - Columns 3 & 4; Tensions from negative thinking; Guilt/ Shame; Depression; Regret, Sadness, Remorse, Grief … and the promise of relief and FREEDOM! Honestly ask yourself: Do I have a quality emotional life? Do I have balance, especially in my relationship with myself? Do I have a daily PRACTICE of PRINCIPLES that result in a fully authentic and integrated life. You will experience a process for: Identifying the exact nature of obstacles to your relationship with yourself & others; Taking ownership and responsibility for your happiness; Fostering balance in your emotional and spiritual life.
This traditional, silent retreat is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. It provides time for spiritual reflection, solitude & prayer, inviting retreatants to be attentive to the inner movements of the Holy Spirit. Prayer focuses on scripture and one’s personal faith journey. Our schedule includes a Scripture-based conference each morning, individual direction (a daily meeting with a retreat director), celebration of daily Eucharist, and an optional evening activity: Labyrinth walk, Reconciliation service, and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The 12 Concepts, adopted in 1955, are a set of guiding Principles for the operation of a nonprofit, spiritual organization.
