Find a place for a sanctuary in your life, making room for passion, grace, play, laughter and wholeheartedness that positively can spill into our relationships and work or ministry. Practice self-care with attention and mindfulness. Terry shows us how to refuel the heart and spirit and stay hydrated emotionally and spiritually. The theme of this year's retreat is "God's Grace is Enough". This traditional, silent retreat is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. It provides time for spiritual reflection, solitude & prayer, inviting retreatants to be attentive to the inner movements of the Holy Spirit. Prayer focuses on scripture and one’s personal faith journey. Our schedule includes a Scripture-based conference each morning, individual direction (a daily meeting with a spiritual director), celebration of daily Eucharist, and an optional evening activity: Labyrinth walk, Video Reconciliation service, and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. It is suggested that participants bring a journal.
Art Theme: The Garden of God ~ This is a meditational event through the expressional form of painting. The participants follow a pattern and start with the same subject, but have artistic freedom & flexibility. This session will allow time for contemplative prayer using silence, music, scripture, and sharing as each artist creates their masterpiece. During this unique form of gathering, individuals will be able to connect with others on a spiritual level while creating art. All skill levels are invited and no artistic experience is required.
Remote Via Zoom ~ Step 11 is our focus today; discuss and explore the application of this Step in our daily lives.
