Lenten Reflections: Part Two—Prayer
Thursday, March 10, 7:30-8:30pm ~ Hosted by Mary & Joseph Retreat Center
“A People of Prayer” Lent calls us to a renewal of our prayer life with traditional seasonal forms of prayer like the Stations of the Cross, which is full of rich Scripture passages to sit with. This pandemic has put us in the longest “Lent,” a two-year season of penance, fasting, and introspection. This session offers suggestions and sharing on what types of prayer can bring us new hope and trust that Easter is indeed coming. Participants will listen to the Scripture of the Day: Matt 7:7-12, share in breakout rooms and experience a different way of praying as a community gathered on ZOOM. Psalm 138 “Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me.”
