Mary & Joseph Retreat Center Health Protocols ~ Updated 7/29/2021

Dear Mary & Joseph Retreat Center Community Members,
Mary & Joseph Retreat Center is open for both indoor and outdoor meeting or dining activities, and we are following current State, County, and Archdiocese guidelines for health and safety. We have capacity available for groups to hold both one-day and overnight retreats. Please call (310) 377-4867 to check availability and learn more about specific guidelines.
Face coverings are required of all, regardless of vaccination status, in any indoor setting, except when eating or drinking.
Face coverings are required for unvaccinated individuals in any outdoor setting where six-foot social distancing is not possible.
Upon entering these grounds and while staying here, individuals are encouraged to be attentive to their own physical condition, self-assess, and self-attest to the following: (a) they are not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell; (b) they have not been diagnosed with Covid-19, and do not believe they have been exposed recently to someone with a suspected or confirmed case; (c) they are following applicable guidelines as much as possible to limit their exposure to Covid-19.
During 2020-21, Covid-19 has considerably impacted our financial situation. We are funded mostly by income from our spiritual programs and guest services, as well as donations, for which we are greatly appreciative. We are doing our best to carefully steward our existing resources to keep our beautiful facilities and dedicated hard-working staff intact. If you are able to donate to help us, please consider making a gift now.
